Tesla's 'Optimus' Robot Upgrade: Hand Design More Agile and Sensitive!
Tesla has recently made significant upgrades to its humanoid robot 'Optimus', introducing a completely new hand design. This new hand features 22 degrees of freedom, with three additional degrees of freedom added to the forearm, making the robot's hands more flexible for performing more complex tasks. The newly designed hands use a soft protective layer covering the fingers and palms. This material not only effectively protects the structure of the robot's hands but also maintains good tactile sensing capabilities. This means 'Optimus' can perform better.
